Traditional Balinese food is an important aspect of Balinese culture. It is surrounded by complex customs relating to the meaning of food and the function of food.

In this class we will explore the exciting flavours of Indonesia and especially Ubud the cultural capital of Bali.

Candle nut, galangal, ginger, turmeric, lemongrass, tamarind, shrimp paste, chilli and ketcap manis are some of the flavours of Bali which we will use in our class recipes, you will be excited how they transform everyday proteins into something amazing.

Menu will include traditional sauces such as Peanut sauce and Samba Ulek ( Balinese spicy sauce) Salads, Fish curry, Nasi goreng and Black rice pudding
